    thanks for your message.

    I am pretty sure that the 1.8 turbo has a much better mileage but it would be the first time that I buy a real sports car and thought the 3.2 will make more fun. Have you seen the video on this forum in which it competes with the BMW Z4 and the Porsche Cayman?

    What is an Haldex controller? Is that similar to the Torsen differential in the all wheel drive line?

    Sorry for the delay, I'm new here and didn't see the messages. I'm from Chicago, and my TT is the 1.8turbo with 225hp. I've have had much higher hp engines, but the power to weight ratio is very nice here and the TT handles very very well.

    So far I'm happy with the performance. I have a bad haldex awd controller, which bothers me a bit...the car only had 18K miles on it, so it's way before it's time, but it is an older car 2001.

    i order the repair part today, we'll see how it runs after the repair, from what i've heard, this enhanced haldex is much better than the original.

    the person i bought this from purchased the new tt with the 3.2 litre engine, but this one gets much better mileage...so i'm happy for that!
