    Default Audi Q5 Acceleration problem

    Hi,
I've got a Q5 2.0TFSI with S-Tronic and I have a problem - during quick acceleration (about 75%-100% of power) between 3000 - 5500 rpm the car jerks and rotations of the engine "jumps". It happens at all modes of the gearbox (D, S, M) and stops after about 20 km of driving. I think that is rather the engine problem than the gearbox problem. If you have any suugestions I will be very grateful...

I noticed a similar problem around 120Km/Hr and found out the dealer had NOT put 95 octane fuel in the car at delivery. As soon as I refuelled with the right stuff the problem went away. Regards

What fuel do you put into your car? How many octane?

95 Octane ULP is recommended by Audi and has worked best for the little extra in cost plus definitely gives better range. Have tried the 98 Octane but not seen the same benefit as from 91 to 95 Octane.

Audi recommends at least 91-octane fuel (premium) for best performance on your Q5's

In Australia they Call RON 95 "Super Unleaded 95"
In The USA they Call RON 95 "Premium Unleaded 91 AKI" Go Figure????
So what ever your country calls fuel with a RON 95 rating That's what Audi recommend for the Q5.

Thanks a lot for help. I live in Europe - here we have the premium 98 and I use this type of fuel (on fuel cap I have sticker - "MIN 95 ROZ" - I think, the 98 will be ok?).I was in Audi with my problem - they replaced all 4 spark plugs and now the problem desapeared
