We have no such legal roads here.

Wish we did. When I was much younger I had a 340 Duster, like this one, significantly modified it put out 350hp. Flat out it did 142MPH, fastest I took it, but it felt like I was in a tin can tumbling down the side of the mountain. Basically it was pretty unstable....but in the city, I could spin the tires for 4 blocks.

The m35x rides like a tank, is very stable and when I let her go, she gives a good effort, but not anywhere near the g35 I swapped for it. But, I suspect at 150K miles, the m35x will run pretty much the same.

Anyhow, off to the dealer tomorrow on the TT...sorry, no photo yet, the weather has been very rainy here in Chicago. I have the say, the TT corners like a dream.

I'll let you know when I'm in Germany, but before that, I'm sure I'll take another look at the A6.

Take care,
Charles

That's a sweet car. 350 hp, that's a lot. I guess it likes fuel a lot? :P.

Is that a pic of your car? Upload it in your album: http://www.go-audi.com/album.php.

Let me know your TT updates. The A6 is very good too, if you want to go for speed, go for the TT. The A6 is more an every day car, very relaxing for driving to work etc.

Ok, back from the dealer on the TT. They found a hose that fell off the secondary air pump that was giving me the check engine light and the p0411 code. Makes sennse, I feel bad for not seeing it, but it must have been on the backside of the pump.

the ESP light is another matter. they told me the haldex controller looked as if someone had taken a hammer to it. So i have to get that repaired. The haldex is cycling the pump on and off and it probably will damage something if I don't repair it soon. The dealer cost.......$1900. I can find the competition haldex online for 850, and have it installed...i don't think i can do it myself, i just don't have the equipment.

about the old car....she was a beauty, and yes about 9mpg in the city, but that was when gas was only 35 cents/gallon. my favorite car was my 1968 mustang fastback. i don't have a pic of it, but it looked like this. mine was a lighter shade of blue.... i think it was a very beautiful car. not the same hp as the duster, but it ran very nicely with the 302v8 engine. it had a bad passenger seat, so all the girls had to sit in the back seat....very convenient.

let you know more about the haldex as i do. trying to find the absolute best price.

Hmm. I have to refuse, I am no repairing expert neither. 1600$ seems a bit much. Perhaps you should try buying the haldex controller on the internet and then ask a cheap local store to build it in. That might be the cheapest solution.

Very nice car. Hehe, how many girls did you take with you? :P.

I will post a little more soon as I am currently on vacation.

hehe, of course this car was extra hot with the girls, especially since air conditioning was not an option.

hey, one of the members sold me an old haldex, so I'll be putting that in this week.

what are the best ways to boost the hp in the tt? i know 225 for this car is a lot, but maybe i can spend a little money and get it higher.

Hehe. Yep. Sure. Would be interested.

I am no tuning expert unfortunately .

Btw. did you notice? Your pictures are now randomly appearing on our forum home page: Audi forum. I am going to test drive a TT this weekend. Will let you know how it goes.

I love the photos on the front, that's great! Tell me how you like the new TT, it has the bigger engine, but it looks great!

I have a red one lined up, 2008!
