 99 A4- Whats a Catalytic Converter going to cost me?? Last night I started to accelerate up a hill and I hit 6000 RPMs and all of the sudden my car started to sound like a lawnmover. When I accelerate it makes the loudest most obnoxious "old beater" sounding noise I've ever heard. Anyway, I took it in to the shop and my guy seems to think it may be the Catalytic Converter. Any other opinions as to what it could be. I was thinking the Turbo? And... any idea on what it may all cost? Please help!!!  |
