 2006 Audi A8 - Ipod installation question I'm concidering a 06 A8 when the lease on my 03 BMW 745 is up. One of the many peeves with the beemer is with the audio system. The I-drive is impossible, and there is no way to intigrate an Ipod into the audio system without going thru the FM radio (kinda defeats the purpose) In 2003 there was a kit available from Blitzsafe to connect an Ipod directly into the A8 audio system. I also believe Phatnoise made a similar kit. It was nice because you got true digital sound, and could use the steering wheel controls to work the Ipod. I have had no luck trying to find out if there is anything available from Audi for the 2006 A8. Also, no info from Blitzsafe or Phatnoise. Any help would be appreciated!!  |
