 '84 5000S fuel pump good day everyone. i'm new at this forum and fixing up my old audi as well. I have replaced my fuel pump for about 2 to three times, and i am getting frustrated with it already. After i replace a new one, i will be able to enjoy the car for a few weeks. if car has not beed started for about three days, the car is hard to start again, thus not start at all. fuel doesnt seem to reach fuel filter stage even if fuel tank is full or half way. checked if something wrong with electrical of the fuel pump but everything is ok. can someone please help me with my dillema? is there something wrong with the fuel pump that i've been purchasing? i buy my pump online (drivewire, autopartswarehouse, etc) i get BOSCH 0 580 254 023. Is this the righht pump for my car? because i think i can not buy and replace fuel pump every other month. what seems to be the problem?  |
