 Buy certified '06 A8 or new A6 4.2? Buying new only gives 4 years of warranty and no maintenance, while an '06 gives an extra 2 years of warranty and maintenance for the first 4 years since the car was placed into service. '06, low mileage (<12K), A8 with premium package, about $58-62K A6 4.2 new $58K+ So, it seems that the A8 is a better buy and a better car. Realizing this, how is this on maintenance $ upkeep once it comes off warranty? Is the maintenance record of this car better than a BMW 7 series?  |
