Audi TT 3.2 quattro coupe costs

I am not sure whether I should recommend my father the Audi TT 3.2 quattro coupe. The costs not for the car but for the later usage are immense. Nonetheless I made good experiences with all other Audi models. Just the costs are high.


The fuel price in Germany for the required gas is around 1.50 euro per liter. The average costs for an insurance are around 200 euro a month, so he would have around 200 euro a month fix costs + fuel costs. The TT 3.2 quattro has an average fuel consumption of 9.4 liters per 100 km. That's an average cost of (9.4*1.5)/100 = 14.5 Cent per kilomter just for the fuel. He drives around 1000 km a month. That's (1000 * 14.5)/100 + 200 = 345 euro per month. Not to forget service and other extra costs that might occur...

Does the joy overweigh the costs?
