HypoVereinsbank Ladies German Open starts on 29 May
• Audi is Presenting Sponsor of new Golf tournament near Munich
• Over 120 players to compete for 250,000 euros of prize money
Ingolstadt – For the first time following a seven-year break, a professional golf tournament of the Ladies European Tour (LET) will be staged in Germany. Top national and international players will tee off at the HypoVereinsbank Ladies German Open held at Golfpark Gut Häusern near Munich on 29 May. Audi is part of the action as the Presenting Sponsor and official vehicle partner.
The support of the Ladies German Open marks a new highlight of Audi’s golfing commitment that nearly spans two decades: together with HypoVereinsbank, Audi has developed and positioned a high-calibre professional tournament for ladies. 126 players are expected to take part in the début event held at Golfpark Gut Häusern on the outskirts of Munich from 29 May to 1 June. In addition to international top-class players, German top stars Bettina Hauert and Martina Eberl will be competing in the tournament.

At the Ladies German Open Audi not only presents itself with the tagline “presented by Audi“ as part of the name of the event The four rings will be incorporated in the tournament logo as well as in all marketing activities. Audi supplies 25 automobiles of the Audi

A8 model ranges to the official shuttle service and plans opportunities for test drives for guests and spectators. In addition, Audi will showcase a selection from its sporty model range, such as the new Audi
A3 Convertible, at its golf terminal.
The players will even have the chance to take the youngest star from Ingolstadt home with them: Audi donates the convertible version of the Audi
A3 as a “hole-in-one” prize, in other word for teeing the ball directly into the hole.
