Audi RS 6 Avant Blasts into Melbourne

The latest Audi RS 6 Avant supercar will blast into Australia next week, making its Australian premiere appearance at the Melbourne International Motor Show 2008.

Offering blistering performance of 426 kW and 650 Nm of torque from its V10 twin turbo powerplant, this newest addition to Audi’s supercar range will be launched in Australia around August 2008. It completes the sprint from 0 – 100 km in just 4.6 s.

The car will be priced at $259,000 rrp. Highly sought-after for its uncompromising sportscar performance and sheer dynamism, Audi expects to sell more than 40 vehicles in just 4 to 5 months following its local launch in 2008.
