AUBURN HILLS, MI -- Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. today announced it will host a job fair March 6 at the Westin Tysons Corner. The fair will run from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

As part of Volkswagen Group of America, VW Credit, Inc. and the Audi and Volkswagen brands also will be represented at the fair. Job opportunities are available in the fields of sales and after sales operations, finance and accounting, human resources, marketing and communications, product marketing, vehicle logistics, and other disciplines.
"Northern Virginia and the Greater Washington, DC area have a skilled and diverse workforce and we look forward to introducing ourselves in person," said Mike Beamish, Executive Vice President for Human Resources, Volkswagen Group of America. "Volkswagen Group of America is charting an exciting new course in the United States and we are looking for the best and brightest to help us achieve success."
The company has undertaken an aggressive recruiting campaign, including advertising in the Washington Post, the Washington Business Journal, AdWeek, BrandWeek, MediaWeek, The Fairfax Times and Automotive News. Radio advertisements for the job fair will begin in the DC area this week.

Volkswagen Group of America is in the process of moving its U.S. corporate headquarters from Auburn Hills, Mich., to Herndon, Va., scheduled to begin in April 2008.
