Default Audi S3 door sensor
Hi guys and gals,
I own a 2003 Audi S3 quattro and today have had to order a new door sensor as the on board computer occasionally flashes up that the drivers door is open when it isn't which is annoying. Audi told me it would be the door sensor so i've ordered a new one.
Not content on paying their labour costs, i thought i'd have a go at changing it myself, any ideas on how to do it???

Hiya,

My door is doing the exact same thing. Id really like to have a crack at fixing it myself - did you manage to do it? if so, how diffiuclt was it?

I'm doing the very same thing this weekend, I have a part from a breaker £ 37+delivery, but found Audi only charge £ 41 + vat for the same part NEW, (surprised there) and they have 136 in stock in the country !!
Anyway, hope to set up a photo-walkthrough how to do it this weekend.
