I have 2007 Audi
A3 with dealer installed iPod interface, and I am trying to get rid of it. I have never been very fond of Apple, but I figured since Audi provides integrated solution for mp3 player (ipod only), ill buy the interface, and will buy Apples mp3 player: the famous iPod: I mean how bad can it be, right?? well, wrong. Apple iPod is the biggest piece of junk I have ever had, and I hated using it outside of my glovebox. (worked just fine in the car, so I want complaining too much!). Now my iPod got stolen few months back, and I am honestly kinda glad. Sorry for the rant. Now the question:
I want to get the iPod interface out of my car, and sell it to someone who might want to use it, since I will never buy another ipod ever again. Before I do that, I wanted to kow how much I can get for it (paid $395 w/installation). If I can get at least $200 for it, I might go ahead, and order the tool and get the thing out. Does anyone know what manufacturer/model Audi uses for their iPod interfaces in 2007 car model, so I can see what they go for online? Does anyone here want to buy a used ipod interface from me? Make an offer if you are interested.
