 B5 1.8t w/ Piper Cams - CELs hey guys, I just bought this car last week. the previous owner put in Piper Cams, which is all and good...but its throwing misfire codes, i just pulled them P0300, 0301, 0302, 0303, 0304....makes 100% sense ... general misfire, then misfire in 1,2,3,4 cyl. only problem I have with this right now is i need to register this and run it through DE state inspection my scanner can erase codes, and right after that I try and read again and it reads 0 codes....but I dont know if that will work for the inspection lane. anyone have any ideas or suggestions to temporarily "override" the CEL status.....some crazy trick that will confuse the ECU or what not any help would be great!  |
