Timing Belt $$ and services

My 04 3.2 tt has just under 60k miles, and I do not want to deal with a broken timing belt. but before i do, i'm trying to get a little research done... Should I have an Audi dealership do the service, and how much should I expect to pay. I called one place (an audi and porsche dealer) and they said around $1500 (including water pump, thermostat, etc..) is this the right price range, or is it higher priced cus its audi and porsche? Also, is there a benefit from buying an ECS kit and having them use that, or just having them use whatever they use? One last question too, the 10k mile maintaince...is it necessary to do that too while i'm getting the TB changed out? (i just got the car with 58,700 miles...i've only had it for 1.5k)
