multitronic light PRNDS flashing

Hello All, I have an A4 1.9TDI multitronic. I have noticed on two occassion (with months apart) that while driving along all the "PRNDS" flashes instead of just the "D", I noticed that when I stop and park then move the gear to P then back to D the problem disappers. Does anyone know what the problem is? Audi dealer says they can't find anything in the computer log. How do I know if the automatic transmission oil is low? I don't know if this is related but I also sometimes notice the car jerk when driving along at constant speed.
