Traction Control/loss of power?

Hi, i collected my 2.5 tdi Quattro Sport on friday and i must say
i'm loving it!! It's the 180bhp version and the V6 sounds amazing!

I'm posting tho as i may have an issue with the traction control... the
light coming on and there's loss of power? This problem only raises it's
head when im going up the multistorey car park at work?

Each 'up' ramp is at a 90' turn which means i have to change to 1st gear
and then drive up the fairly steep ramp. My bloke thinks it could be due
to the steep incline that the quattro system switches into a low ratio....
and the light comes on?

I suppose this would explain the loss of power that also occurs!?!

Can anybody tell me if this is normal?
