Default A4 B6 3.0 Coolant Sensor

I just bought the car for about 2 weeks and my coolant sensor has been going nuts. From what Ive researched, its the ECT sensor thats probably gone bad. I would prefer to do it myself to save some money but have no idea where it is. All the stuff Ive found have been for the 2.8 and the 1.8T. Any help would be appreciated!
