A4 B6 - 32K - High Oil Consumption - Now Blue Smoke

2003 audi A4 2.4 auto

I have a oil consumption problem with my audi from new it uses about one litre of oil per 3-4 thousand kilomiters

audi say this is normal consumption & this will decrease as the rings bed in over more kilomiters

now done 23000 klm & oil consumption is the same (no real improvement )

also in reverse gear i have a huge crunching sound when i start to reverse (intermitently) only

audi have changed the gear box but this did not fix the problem

also how do you change a rear brake light globe

any help appreciated
