2001 new A4 owner, obviously with questions.

Hi all, just bought a Dec 2001 A4 2.0 SE with 105,000m on the clock. Just a couple of questions. I also have an Octavia and Superb Diesel that fly compared to this.
From what I've read its 130bhp, but boy is it slow, with the A/c on it hardly moves, is this normal?
Just realised that I have some water leaking from under the glove compartment, any ideas? Could it be the A/c?
