B6 and B7 Audi seemed to spend the entire life span of the B6 model fiddling with the suspension settings resulting in the high riding B7 model! The B7 was far more than just a face lift, many suspension parts were changed or adjusted to create a car that could ride reasonably on uk roads, and I must admit they seem to have got it about right finally. When I am sat in my B6 sport avant a B7 model seems like a range rover next to me the height difference is so great, also my rear tryes are just about visible below the arches where as on a standard or SE model there is a clear gap, should be 20mm difference, seems more to me, and no mine has the standard sport setup. |
