 satellite radio options for '05 coupe Greetings. I recently purchased a 2005 audi tt coupe with the bose factory system. The stereo has a sat. radio button and the car has a built in sat. radio antennae but my dealer is saying to add what I need to get sat. radio is going to run around $600. That just seems crazy. I have had xm pretty much since its inception (have 4 players) but I have not spent that much in total on my players. I do not want to go with any of the portable options as I want to keep a clean look in the interior of this car. Also, my understanding is that it is only set up for sirrius. I have looked on crutchfield and they did not give me any integrated sat. radio options for this car model. I would aprpeciate any guidance on these issues, specifically: What do I need to make this car sat. ready? What should it cost? Is xm an option? Will a stereo shop be ok or must I go through the dealer? Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I am loving this TT, such a sweet , sweet ride.  |
