Default KW coilovers

Hi there,

Does anyone have any experience/information about KW coilovers? I'm thinking about variant 1 or 2. Is the variant 2 a good compromise, or do I just need variant 1? I know that variant 2 allows you to change the compression, what benefits will that bring?

Also, if KWs are not your thing, what brand would you recommend for a 2.0TDI? I'm looking for a lower stance, better cornering, and maintaining as much comfort as possible! I don't want anything that feels really really tight and 'sprung'! (Even though I like to watch guys driving cars that are soooo tight they wiggle with every bump...looks bone jarring!)

Thanks!!

KW Var 2s are great. Konis Coilovers are about $500 less and, frankly, just as great. Vogtland also has great coilovers. Adjustability is important if you autocross or track day, otherwise not really needed. C/Os also weigh less, and lower unsprung weight always helps handling.

But given your requirements, I would maybe skip coilovers and go with the Koni FSD/Eibach setup.

Koni has a special website to explain why these are very unique shocks. I only wish they made them in a C/O version. http://www.koni-na.com/fsd/
