Audi TT vs. BMW Z4

Hey everyone, just joined the forums. I am in the market for a fast two seater! I went to the Audi dealership not expecting anything. Up to yesterday, I always thought Audi was like Volvo. Great cars, but never performance minded. The TT literally blew me away. It was the most amazing experience I have ever had in a car! I recently got to test drive both cars and this is what I concluded.

I definitely liked the Z4, good handling, very strong 2nd gear and the styling is incredible. A couple things I didn't like about the Z4 were the uncomfortable seats, rougher ride, and the sound system quite frankly, sucked! There were no dislikes with the TT. But the most important difference between the two that I felt was the "one with the car" feeling. The TT with out a doubt had that feeling, not so much with the Z4. The traction control on the Z4 felt really weird when I got on it in a turn. I had goose bumps and heart rate of 170 when the salesperson was driving the TT. The Z4 never gave me goose bumps, the 2nd gear got my heart running though! The guys at BMW said they run circles around the TT, I don't know about that!

I am leaning heavily towards the TT. BMW has great lease offers, so that would really be the only reason I would go with the Z4. Hopefully Audi can get my payments under $500 and minimum downpayment on a 24 or 36 month lease.

Another plus about going with Audi is they support the American Le Mans Series. I am a huge ALMS & F1 fan, though I have been pulling for Porsche this year! The Audi has won enough.
