With the hood open, you'll see a white-ringed flat knob on top-center of each headlight assembly to adjust vertically, and another identical knob on the outside edge of each assembly (next to the fender edge) for lateral movement. Sorry, I don't have my car with me today, or I'd include a picture. These are the only white items in the vicinity - good thing, so that they are easier to find in the dark (when headlights are most likely to be adjusted). They do not require any tools to turn.
The beam moves upward when the vertical adjustment is turned counter-clockwise. Don't know about the lateral adjustment direction, but I'd guess that counter-clockwise would move each headlight outward (away from center). The adjustment is pretty insensitive (a full turn of the knob doesn't move the headlight very much).
I only remember all this because I just tweaked my (non-HID) lights last night. |
