Just bought 01 audi quattro coupe

Hey all I just recently bought me an audi TT quattro.

I am a lil confused though, this is a quattro (carfax says quattro and i looked under car for rear diff) but it has a 5spd transmission, and the intake manifold has the hose coming from the pass side. Was there select quattros durring that time that where equiped with 180s???

If I do have the 180, aside obviously from a dv, intake, exh, chip and mbc/gauge, what else can i do to get my power up? what all would have to be upgraded to be able to put the turbo from the 225 on it?

I noticed the throttle response wasnt quite as good as another quattro(6spd) i drove a few weeks ago, I am going to order a forge dv and am going to get my boost gauge hooked up to make sure it is not in limp mode, any other suggestions to check for?


FYI i am new to audi but i have been modifying turbo eclipses for the last 4 years so I am not a complete car noob or anything.
