S4 and S6 relative performance anyone?

Driving home from work yesterday I got to see a C6 Audi S6 in black - very nice looking car. Of course being curious, I wanted to see what its specs were, so I went to Audi's web site and took a look - 5.2 liter V10 apparently sourced from the Gallardo. Something like 485hp and 398ft/lb torque.

Then I looked and saw some reviews that pegged its acceleration at around 5.0/5.1 seconds, and of course I noticed that it isn't available in a manual transmission. Now, I would have expected that the S6 would blow the S4 away in performance terms, but that appears to not be the case. Does anyone have any more detailed comparisons between the two?
