Audi Confirms Show-Stopping Line-Up for Adelaide Motor Show

In line with Audi’s brand values of sporty, progressive and sophisticated, the company has confirmed several key highlight models for the annual Adelaide Motor Show in April. Key hero vehicles will include the all new Audi A4, the R8 sports coupe and the elegant, yet potent Audi S5.

Audi’s managing director, Joerg Hofmann says the brand is focussed on strong market growth and South Australia is a state with clear potential for this increase, with sales up 21% in 2007, in particular, sales of the sporty TT Coupe.

“Audi has had a very strong start to 2008 with growth of 36 percent year-to- date. The introduction of several key new cars later in the year, including the all-important A4 will further boost the brand’s image and sales nationwide,” Mr Hofmann said.

“New product is a key strength of the Audi brand and the onslaught of new models arriving in Australia this year will cement our reputation as an innovator and a brand focussed on sporty performance,” he added.

With the R8, S5 and new A4, the full Audi line up also includes the popular A3 Sportback, luxurious A8, the new A6 2.8 Le Mans edition, all-terrain A6 allroad quattro, high-performance Q7 4.2 TDI, and the sporty TT Coupe.

“Audi Australia finished 2007 with another record, and we have continued this success into 2008 with record sales in January and February. Our continuing growth and success in this market places us in a strong position to secure exciting highlight cars to continue to showcase the brand in a high-profile way Down Under,” Mr Hofmann said.

“These new models will contribute to our sales growth and help us achieve double digit growth for the fourth consecutive year.”
