 Need an opinion from experienced mechanic. I have a 98 1.8tq with an apr chip,ko3, intake , and 2.5 cat back exhaust with koni adjustables. My boost guage tells me I'm boosting to 18 which is nice but the car feels a little slower than when I first got it. The dealership said that I need to replace the throttle cable. Will that make it more responsive with a new cable? Is there any thing besides seafoam that I can use to clean the engine or to make it less sluggish? Also people say that if I put a boost controller on my car it will hate me. Please any feedback would be appreciated.  |
