Default 2.5 TDI V6 Quattro help please

Hi guys

my new toy has an issue, its dropping big smoke clouds out the rear when i boot it, it happens in 1st and 2nd gear mostly, it also does it in 3rd 4th 5th and 6th when i put my foot down,

The car also seems to have a big Turbo lag, in 1st gear, its not that fast off the mark, sluggish, then the revs get to 3k and it all goes like a rocket, and the people behind are left in a foggy haze as i enter 2nd gear, then its the same as i enter 3rd gear,

In 5th and 6th it seems to not be that livery in fact in 6th with the foot right down it feel like the car is bogged down and losing power,

now iv been told that the inter cooler may be blocked, im not sure if it is as iv not taken it off,

any advise will be great fully read,

Regards
