Hello Rafster, welcome to Audi Forum,

Personally, I recommend you to get B&O music system and a bigger set of wheels in your Audi Q5 .

Hope you get your Audi Q5 soon

    Best Regards

That's a difficult question - what are your priorities. Some buyers opt for a pure budget based solution, others are driving performance, yet others care most about creature comforts. You have to be more descriptive in what you want out of the vehicle.

In my case, I really wanted the technology in navigation as a must have feature and the bigger wheels - I think the car looks better with at least 19's. I also had an additional constraint in that I did not want to spend over $45K.

Thus for me, I picked the Premium Plus, Nav MMI and upgraded 19" wheels. I stayed right at my $45K target. I would have loved the upgraded speakers, but I was not willing to spend an additional $800 for it.

After owning the Q5 for a month now, I am thrilled with it. No regrets in any of the choices I made. Yes, I would have loved to have some of the S line or Prestige features, but I made a balanced decision and got exactly what I wanted for the amount I was prepared to spend.

If you can get it, the black styling package is a must to me. I can't stand chrome!!!

NO B&O music system. I am so disappointed with the B&O sound system in new car Q5
10 day old. Audi sound system 180W loudness??????? Compare with 3 cars Q5 in Audi salon

Yes the black styling package is what must have been on the test Q5 that I drove. I thought at first it was because it was a s-line model. So the black styling package will need to be on my list.

Other things I'm interested in are the parking sensors, with on screen graphics and rear camera ( we have tight parking spaces). Also the motorised boot (as I heard you can set it for clearance height issues - which we also have in underground garage).
Also not sure what options to get for use with my iPhone?? Want to at least be able to make/receive hands free calls via Bluetooth and charge the phone. Would also like to play music, but not essential if I can store mp3's on the multimedia hard drive.
Folding mirrors (can't believe this is not standard!)
    Xenon headlights.

I need to repost with the brochure in front of me. But if anyone would like to comment, that would be great.

    here's my .02 input ...
-- I'm in design and color is everything to me. I have had a blue car since i've been driving and the Sea Blue was not to be found at all, so mines on order, to me it's worth the wait. + I personally don't like a wood look interior so was happy to pay for the upgrade to acquire the brushed silver interior inserts and hubby was happy for the bigger wheels and different ground effect package of the s-line.
-- For options my current vehicle has the keyless entry & start and I so love not having to route around my purse to dig a key out - just touch the door handle you're in and touch the button and your away.
-- Having a nav has been most helpful in finding in & out from destinations
-- The back-up camera is the BEST option I've found as the back end is so high you just never know what you can be backing into!
-- I am a decent enough driver to know how to set my side mirrors properly to not need the side-assist but it comes with the package - oh well.
    thanx as always!
