Hello Andyp welcome to Audi Forum,

If you feel the steering is getting heavy Some possibilities for this problem would be: you may be low on PS fluid, PS pump belt may be loose or failing PS pump. I am completely not sure on what exactly is causing this, I'd suggest you to get your car physically checked by your Audi service or any mechanic so that the proper cause of this malfunction can be diagnosed. Hope you get it fixed soon.
