Both Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 are amazing cars and are one of the best sellers in their respective category. But considering the fact that you are 6'4", I personally feel that the Audi Q7 will be more apt and comfortable for you. I'd suggest you to take a test drive of both the vehicles, I'm sure you will decide better what is best for you. Hope you get your Audi soon.

Since you're so tall, you'll want to sit in them personally. Or have you now? If so, what did you find out?

It's obvious that Q5 is a clear competitor. It's performance is quite better than Q7 and comfortable to ride in all weather condition and on all roads. If one is looking for passenger capability then Q7 would be much better.
