    Default Question for anyone else that has pre-ordered or purchased a new 2010 A3 2.0 TDI?

    How has the overall experience gone with purchasing your A3 TDI? I ordered my car on October 8, 2009. I was originally promised by my dealer that I would receive delivery of my car before Christmas. My dealer has informed me that there was a delay and I should expect delivery of my car the week of January 11, 2010.

    Has anyone else been informed there would be a delay in the original delivery date?

    Has anybody received delivery of their 2010 A3 TDI?

    What options did you order with your car?

    I ordered mine with the following:
    Premium Plus
    Navigation w/ipod
    Cold Weather Package
    Convenience package
    Open Sky Sunroof
    Aruba Blue Pearl Effect
    Luxor Beige Interior

    I traded in my 07 Prius for my 2010 A3 2.0 TDI on 1/20/10 & haven't looked back. This car is so fun to drive. The torque really pushes you back in the seat. I put snow tires on (Mastercraft Glacier Grip tires) when I got it. It was unstoppable in this last 10 inch snow storm. Living in CT we have lots of hills and curvy roads. I have been averaging 34.4 MPG. 85% of my driving is on local roads and 15% on the hwy. I'm a pet sitter so I need a car that gets good MPG & is reliable in all types of weather.

    i traded in my 08 prius and haven't looked back. The a3 is amazing with all the creature comforts that my prius was lacking. Good luck with your a3.

    Ordered an A3 2.0 TDI Sportback Sport on 15th February, quoted 12 weeks delivery. Factory production confirmed for week commencing 15th March and expecting delivery Mid April!!!!

    Waited 12 weeks (ordered Nov. 9, 2010) for my TDI and it arrived a week ago. Put over 350 miles on it so far..really really love it. The dealership, however, was a bunch of know-nothings without any training or knowledge of the car.

    Its arrived, 10 weeks from placing order one week old and 400+ miles on the clock already.
    Really enjoying the A3 experience after my 2003 Passatt.

    We ordered an A3 2.0 TDI Sport Cabriolet on March 1st and have been told it will be a week 20 build..so late May early June delivery..
