Audi A8 L 2011 (long version) to make its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show

As you may know already Audi unveiled the 2011 A8 sedan last week and it appears that the manufacturer is already preparing a second premiere, the long version of the car dubbed A8 L.

Although many of you would expect this debut to be made in January at the Detroit Auto Show this is not going to be made there… the place chosen by Audi is the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, the same place where Porsche decided to present the Panamera sedan back in April. Of course, most of you folks could ask why is Shanghai the chosen place? It is all very simple: the Chinese market is one of the best at this time and in order to improve the sales hit hard by the financial crisis many manufacturers decided that it is time to enter on new auto markets!
