Default Audi A4 tdi cold starting problem

I still have starting problems with my 1.9 tdi, I have fault codes 17978,17656,17948 and 17660. I have managed to start her on jump leads on two seperate occasions and drove fine and even started fine while still warm ie after a couple of hours, When lef overnight or for long periods she just puffs out white smoke ? I would have thought that if it run fine when I did get her started that the fuel pump and injector would be fine ? Any Ideas ??

I believe the problem lies with your Injectors, The fault codes(17656,17660) indicate problems with the injectors. I'd suggest you to have your injector checked and replace it if found faulty. Mostly that should fix this issue.
