Hello Ed welcome to Audi forum,

The backup battery in the siren must be dead or a low voltage battery in the siren would cause the problem. Replace the backup battery as soon as possible.

hi there just reading this now i have a 04 model audi a3 and i had my alarm going off on my boot and then the back wiper would never stop, after about a week it stopped altogether. Is this maybe the same error as this or would it be something totally different.
