AUDI SHARK CONCEPT Future with no wheels
We’ve finally found something we want more than an Audi
R8 FSI, and it gives us hope that we might one day ride something similar to an Imperial speeder bike.

The
Audi Shark is a futuristic flying concept vehicle with a streamlined design inspired by motorcycles and airplanes.

The Audi Shark concept is 26-year-old Kazim Doku’s winning entry into a design competition co-sponsored by Audi and Milan’s Domus Academy. And while the Shark may wear the four ring Audi badge, it’s not a car but a hovercraft. Still, you can see some familiar elements of Walter de’Silva’s signauture style, something Doku told us he tried to emulate when designing the Shark.
"Darth Vader, your car has arrived" and "This could be the next Batmobile" is shark imagery, with every other car being equated to the deep-sea hunters.
Some highlights :
The two-seater flying sportscar is inspired by the world of motorclycles and airplanes and offers its passengers
strong sensations and high levels of safety.
The streamlined design of the exterior offers a visual reference to the car's name and - in combination with the rear lower spoiler - gives the vehicle an
underwater appearance.
Both the headlights and the tail lights are made by transparent tubes which integrate LED units. The interior features sporty seats integrated in the cockpit structure.
The driving position is similar to a motorcycle "but with a car’s security." LED lights come straight out of the S5 parts bin, but the rear-hinged glass cockpit and air foils come straight out of the future. We also appreciate the side view mirrors, a must when gliding over roadways at breakneck speed.
