Audi recommends 5W Mobil 1 oil - Mobil 1 SAE 5W-40 with ZVW 352 540 S oil type for Q5 which is approved by 504.00/507.00 standard

But few shops specialising in VAG cars advise that 5W-30 or 40 or 50 is the most ideal(fully synthetic).

What was the grade mark you were using till now?
