A failed Coolant Temp Sensor is causing my Check-Engine light to stay lit on my 2002 TT. The dealer says this is a $400 job (parts and labor). Car has only 55,000 miles. Seems like an unlikely problem (and expense) on a "young" high-quality car. Have others had this experience?![]()
Thanks for the follow-up. It's somewhat comforting to know that your car isn't the only one with the problem.![]()
I Have a big problem with my Audi tt. First the cooling fan was froze like ice and hard to turn. So I got other one at $280, that should fit it. Now the fan will not come on. My car is sitting in the back yard right now
Hey,
Seems like the problem is with your temperature sensor. Rather than concentrating on the fan, concentrate on the sensor chip and if possible get that replaced by a servicing. Also check the fan pack relay and the fuses. I'm sure your problem will be solved.
