Default Audi A4 Anti-theft system problem

hello,
i have a 2004 Audi A4 1.8t. about a minute after i lock it a beeping noise comes from the trunk, and that noise lasts for about 30 seconds. it is quite annoying and i would like to know how to make it stop making this noise.

If you have access to a VAG COM use it and check for codes,It may be triggered due to any sensors going bad. I'd suggest you to take your car to your Dealer or any local garage so that the cause of this malfunction could be diagnosed and fixed. Hope you get it fixed soon

yea i thought that i was going to have to go to the dealer, i was just seeing if there was anyway not to spend any money.
can you switch off the alarm system? cause i think that might fix it.
