Audi A5 automatic 2.7 L clutch,gearbox problem
Hi,
My dad has an A5. And he loves it. So do I. But the car has a gearbox or clutch problem. Example: It's a red light, now green, dad accerelarates, but then the gearbox or clutch does dunka-dukka,like an amateur with an manual. And it does like four times in the week. One time it was in service and it didn't like do that for an month or two,and then it started to do it again. The car has been many, many times in service just for that, they tried to install the new software, etc. But the service just said like we don't know and thats basicaly it.
Thanks.
P.S Sorry,my english is maybe not that good.
P.S.S If there are any estonians here, please PM me. Kui eestlasi siin on,palun PM-ige mulle.

Hello welcome to Audi forum,
Have you checked for any fault codes personally?? They could help in proper diagnostics of the malfunction. I think it must be a problem with the Gearbox or a problem with clutch & flywheel. It is a shame that the service ppl have not been able to fix it yet! If your car is still under warranty you could push the dealer for a free replacement of the defective parts. Hope you get it fixed soon.

Thank you very much. My dad had an replacement car for like a 4 days and one service guy drove the A5 for like some hours and then he understanded, that the problem is in the gearbox. Audi ordered the new gearbox and it shoud be installed to the car after a few weeks. Even my dad thought to switch the Audi to an BMW X6.
Thanks anyways.
Regards,
