Audi A8 gas/Fuel gauge Problem

i have a a8 2000 model that when the gas gauge gets to 1/2 tank you are out of gas
has anyone had this problem or know of a fix ? please respond

Hello welcome to Audi forum,

I think it must be the fuel sensor switch. In most cases it's usually the faulty fuel sensor switch. It needs to be replaced. Have your vehicle checked by Audi dealer or your local garage! So that proper cause of this malfuction can be diagnosed and fixed. Hope you get it fixed soon

Thanks for your response , the car actually does still have 1/2 tank of gas
when it will stop running and there are no check engine light on .
