Default Audi Q5 Thinking of buying

Hi All, long time lurker, but only a first time poster. We're in the market for a compact SUV. We've looked at a Rav4 Sport, BMW X3 and next up the Audi Q5.

I'm interested in the quality and reliability of the Audi. My wife is skeptical, and I'm not so sure about Audi or VW in general. I've only had one friend to buy an A4 in I think 2002 and it was a nightmare for quality to the point she dumped it for a Nissan (yuck).

I have a suppliers code so I get the car nearly at cost which is great...although I'm not sure what type of discount I will get.

I think I prefer the exterior of the BMW, but the interior of the Audi is outstanding.

I keep reading problems with the BMW's tranny, which is slowly pushing me further away.

I guess for a descript the reason for the Audi is we want to tow a small tent trailer 2k lbs or less...and we have two dogs so things fill quickly.

    Any comments/advice is appreciated.

    Hello Welcome to Audi forum,

Audi Q5 would be a perfect fit for you and your family ! The Q5 has enough room so as to provide comfortable journey . Also as you've noticed the Q5 has unmatchable interiors , definitely better than the Bmw , the exterior also looks rock solid and sporty ! You can go ahead and purchase a Q5 , definitely a awesome car ! No doubt

    Regards

I researched the mid size SUV luxury market for 8 months. The Q5 is Exactly what you're looking for and is the BEST car in it's class I got mine in Sep 09 and no regrets.
