I have already the newest engine software and the problem doesn't exist anymore !! Wonderful There is no rpm variations at all...

My Q5 is produced 12/2009 and the rpm variations are visible on rpm meter (+-50 rpm), but mot feelable.

Check for software updates (engine and gearbox)

Hey Diamant, as Martin stated the software updates for the Engine and the Transmission has helped to fix the Rpm variations issue in Q5's. I suggest you to take your Audi Q5 to your dealer and get it updated soon.
