Wow guys, Thanks for all the ideas. Wish I had a Vag-Com (wish I knew what a Vag-Com was .
eBay will do just fine, I think. It's way cheaper there than at the Kufatec site!
So do these MMIs have TV tuners too or just DVD?

Just an update on my eBay purchase. The module has been relisted for 29 days under item number 180456818581, TV Free TV Freischaltung Audi MMI 3G. It is listed as Buy It Now for $102 (was $95) with $8 shipping. I had put in a best offer of $75 and received a counter offer for $85. Good deal anyway you look at it, especially if you do not have access to Vag-Com.

Ok guys my module arrived today. I am very excited! I've got Drop Dead Gorgeous in the DVD player already! There are not any instructions included with the module, so I have no idea what to do with it. Knowing my luck, I'll totally screw up my whole system. Do I just plug it in and turn the car on?
PS. I didn't even consider haggling with the eBay guy. I just blindly paid the $102 price. What a rookie! Sheesh.

While the car is off, you plug the module in. I think the radio came on for a second and then went off. I unplugged after less than a minute and then when I drove away the DVD kept playing!! Awesome/Dangerous! Yikes.

Yes, i think this would work in the 2010 Q5 as well and can enable DVD playback while driving, I'm not sure whether this would work for the navigation. Perhaps, users who are using this may comment on this.
