Hello & Welcome to Audi forum,

You can import music into your Q5 jukebox from SD card or a CD provided it Must be .mp3, .wma or .aac music files from either source.It should work

I also cannot upload from my ipod the MMI will play the ipod but not upload and store music in the jukebox these are mp3 files

Alternatively try importing the .mp3 music files into your Q5 jukebox from SD card or a CD. It must work . If it doesn't let me know !

still cannot load contents of ipod into jukebox-when the screen says '' import files'' I dont see any further promts. the ipod shows up as amedia device (and plays music) but will not go to the next screen. any help- thanks

What Ipod model are you using ??

And i had asked you whether you tried uploading music files from sd card or cd !! Did that work for you ??

I tried an ipod touch and a nano -
I'dont have an sd card to try. again, the MMI shows the ipod but just plays
the tracks it doesn't down load to the jukebox drive. thanks

You can import from CD, CD card, or USB device as long as the underlying files on the CD are in MP3 format .I'm not sure abt importing from the Ipods

I just picked up my new Q5 on Friday. I am having same problem as other member trying to import into jukebox. I do not get message as to source. Should the car be running or not? I have tried from a cd as well as i pod nano. Both play but do not import. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Ray welcome to Audi forum , As explained in my previous posts
You can import music into your Q5 jukebox from SD card or a CD provided it must be .mp3, .wma or .aac music files from either source.
