 Buying engines banned from 2010 on? In the revelation (to me anyway) that Red Bull has to sell Toro Rosso by 2010 someone pointed out that one of the reasons is that each team will have to develop and run their own engines from 2010 on, and proved it with a quote from a RedBull official. Does that not seem excessive to anyone else? I mean, each team having to develop their own engines is going to put a monumental strain on the small teams like Williams, Toro Rosso, and Super Aguri. As far as I can tell, customer engines have always been allowed in F1 because of how difficult it is to develop them. What do you think about this?  |
