2004 S4 B6 vs 1999 M coup Hey i have an S4 B6 and my good friend has an M coupe with lightend flywheel, high pro clutch, short shift, shark injector chip, intake, fully customized racing suspension and super sprint exhaust (265 hp) and we decided to make afew runs. Here are your results
Off the line 0-35 the S4 took it down thanks to traction and a 4500-4700 rpm launch. During this the coupe held me well, his front bumper was even with my back bumper the whole time. We ran through 2nd gear he pulled even thoughout it until about 65 (shift) and both of us nail 3rd and his front bumper is now about a 2 feet ahead of mine as we approach 80-90. Then at the top of 3rd i start to regain the lead go into 4th and start pulling until i am infront. All the way from 100 up to 130 i was dominating because the S52 with the OBD2 comp has no top end power.
Our 2nd run was 30-90 roll on. From 2nd we both nail it and he shoots infront. His back is even with my front door when we both hit 3rd. Thanks to my short, fast almost clutchless shifts into 3rd gear i start pulling quicker and regain an even race by mid 3rd. then at the top of 3rd we are dead even and we both let off.
