A friend of mine that works on body shop stuff and all said he''d paint my rims with the charge of just $20. Too excited about the offer to realize any side effects, I agreed thinking it was a damn good deal. He got this paint that resembles the one in the following image:


Color of the paint was flat black. The rims were cleaned with some dash cleaning stuff (from what I remember) that was sort of like baby wipes. Then the paint was sprayed on, about 5 times recoated. Looks alright now but as I look on the google about it, I hear that they only look good for a couple weeks till they start to be a mess mostly due to brake dust. I also heard that you need to sand your rims and all before even doing any of this stuff.
